ALLOY 20 Tubes is super alloy that is austenitic and chromium-nickel and iron-based with the additions of two elements namely molybdenum and copper. Thus, this provides hostile environmental resistance and also crevice corrosion and pitting resistance. It is stabilized with columbium in order to minimize the carbide precipitation when welding. This alloy appears to fall in between nickel and Stainless category as it is having both elements attributes.
